‘Leading the way in recycling with a unique approach based on unrivalled customer service and collaboration to produce sustainable, profitable growth’.
Originally formed in 1965, Hyndburn Metals operated from a small site close to the town centre in Accrington, Lancashire.
The founding partners took the name of the local river, The River Hyndburn as its name. Hynd (Deer) Burn (River). The company still uses the image of a deer in its Brand today.
The local council later named the Borough of Hyndburn the same way in 1974 and the image of a deer is also shown on the Coat of Arms.
Following relocation to a purpose built facility in 2009 a new company was formed and renamed HML Recycling (Hyndburn Metals Limited)
