Copper
Dry Bright Wire
Usually sourced from electricity cable of varying diameter, Must be free of any other metal or contamination. Minimum thickness 22 gauge.
Greasy Bright Wire
Usually sourced from older lead armoured electric cable, can contain a layer of grease but must be free of other metals or contamination. Minimum thickness 22 gauge.
No2 Copper Wire
Should mainly consist of burnt, tinned and soldered wire but can contain a percentage of unburnt wire, must be free of any other metals and contaminants.
Heavy Copper 98%
Should consist of crucible 18"x18"x18" size clean untinned copper not less than 1/16" thick, must be free of plating, solder and any other metal or contaminant.
Braziery Copper
This grade contains most of things the other grades can't, tinned, soldered, brazed or painted, no problems even up to 5% brass (not the 25% that some of our favourite customers try and sell us occasionally). This grade should be free of other iron or contaminants and strictly speaking 95% copper scrap.
Brass and Copper Radiators
Car and commercial brass and copper radiators free of steel, plastic and rubber.
Clean Pyro
Used for conducting electricity, looks like a copper tube but has several strands of copper inside the tube which are insulated from each other and outside by a white chalk like material, not to be mistaken for the pvc coated pyro.
PVC Pyro
As Copper Pyro Tenax Cable, but with a layer of plastic, usually orange on the outside.
