Special Alloys
Rare Elements such as Cobalt , Molybdemun, Tungsten, Palladium and Rhodium are included in metal alloys to give these alloys special properties. For example extreme resistance to corrosion or temperature.
These elements are produced as by-products of other mining operations. A large percentage of the worlds Gold production comes from copper mines. Other metals are produced as secondary processes in Zinc and Lead mining. Because of this supplies of rare metals can be disrupted, this in turn leads to high demand for secondary metals (Scrap).
At HML our experienced team have an extensive knowledge of these markets. This in turn guarantees that we achieve the highest possible premiums for these types of materials.
If you have special or high value metals for disposal we would welcome the opportunity to provide our most competitive quotation.
